Undergrad Ministry

 

Steven Ambo


Area Director - Puget Sound

Steven graduated from the University of Washington and has been on staff for 12 years. He served for ten years in Oregon at Portland State University, Portland Community College, and Willamette University, then moved back to the Puget Sound, where he now lives with his spouse and toddler.

As area director, he oversees ministry in Tacoma, Seattle, and Everett, and he counts it a privilege to be involved in something as personal as students’ faith lives.

Craig Piefer


Campus staff - Whitman College

Craig joined InterVarsity staff in 2024. He has a deep heart for students of all backgrounds and loves helping people fall more deeply in love with Jesus. Craig has worn many hats over the course of his life – at different points, he was a church pastor, an employee of Whitman’s outdoor program, and a leader in Eastern Washington’s wilderness maintenance operations. He is a lifelong outdoor enthusiast and a devoted follower of Jesus.

Isaiah Tabalbag


Campus Staff - UW Tacoma

Isaiah graduated from the University of Washington Seattle in 2020 and was a member of the Asian American IV chapter there. He came on staff after graduating and has since served at the University of Oregon in Eugene and the University of Washington Tacoma. It is his desire and hope that students would know they are deeply seen, known, and loved by Jesus. He seeks and longs for God's restored shalom on campus and beyond, inviting students to do so with him.

Lindsey Roberts


Campus Staff - Pacific Lutheran University

Lindsey graduated in 2018 from the University of Puget Sound. Post graduation she served part-time with Youth For Christ and with InterVarsity. She loves to play outdoors, and currently she’s been mountain biking and climbing.

Mikey Mok


Team Leader - UW Seattle, Asian American Chapter

Mikey was part of AAIV as a student at the University of Washington before graduating in 2020 and moving to Eugene, OR to serve with InterVarsity at the University of Oregon for two years. He moved back to Seattle to serve on staff for AAIV and has been team lead for the chapter for the past year.

Rachel Kuo


Native Ministries Coordinator

Rachel received her Master’s from the University of St. Andrews, Scotland, and has served on staff with InterVarsity for 15 years. Living in 5 different countries, she has grown a deep love for experiencing God through many cultures. She is currently serving with Native students in the Northwest, eager to learn with them how to honor Creator, land, and community. Rachel moved to Washington in 2020 to marry her husband Wayne. She loves running around with her toddler in the forest behind her home.

Wyietah By


Campus Staff -

Seattle University and Seattle Pacific University

Wyietah graduated from the University of Washington’s Asian American InterVarsity chapter (AAIV). He continued to serve there as a campus staff minister, pouring into students and developing them as leaders, before moving on to lead InterVarsity’s ministry at Seattle University and replant InterVarsity’s multiethnic ministry at the UW. He cares deeply about students having a place to belong and to grow in their faith journeys.

Calvin Chen


Graduate Christian Fellowship (UW Seattle)

Calvin hails from both Chicago, IL and Taipei, Taiwan. Before seminary in Vancouver, BC, he briefly attempted to become an opera singer then worked in campus ministry with undergrads in Madison, WI. He enjoys volleyball, cooking, and being snobby about coffee and tea.

Calvin works primarily with GCF’s weekly grad Bible study and book groups.

Geoff Van Dragt


Graduate Christian Fellowship (UW Seattle)

After several years living and working in Latin America, Geoff attended seminary, leaving with a Master of Divinity degree and a wife (Ashley). He’s been in Seattle since 2011, doing campus ministry and learning the culture of the PNW. Geoff has no hobbies because he has two young sons.

Geoff works primarily with faculty and the Kuyper Fellows.
